Dina Azada Cancio, AAS, Interior Design ’04 came to Parsons with a product and furniture design background. Since graduating, Dina has designed and managed numerous residential and hospitality projects with prestigious New York firm Gruzen Samton. But she has opted to concentrate on store and commercial design and has spent three years as store designer for Ann Taylor Stores before she relocated to San Francisco, California to join Gap, Inc. as a senior store designer.
At present, Dina has established her own practice doing consultancy work for commercial, retail, and medical office projects in Manila, Philippines and Istanbul, Turkey. Further, Dina has taken on a interior design practice for residential projects in the Peninsula and downtown San Francisco. She also continues to engage in her business with designs packaging solutions for 2 of the most prominent confection and chocolate makers in San Francisco which were recently acquired by Hersheys. These truffles and chocolates packaged in Dina’s breathtaking designs are available at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and other specialty stores.
